HV power supplies for electrofilters
Electrostatic filters are used for smoke depollution.
The use of dc high voltage offers a double efficiency: chemical and physical.
The ionisation and sparks neutralize some noxious gases whereas the electrostatic precipitation draws the particles towards collectors connected to the ground.
