Three-Phase Endurance Bench

This three-phase endurance bench is used for high voltage testing with repetitive heating / cooling cycles.

It simulates a network of 730MVA – 200kV – 2.1kA.

The three loops are subjected to High Voltage so measuring the temperature directly on the conductor core is impossible. The system then uses the sleeve temperature, current measurement and cable parameters to calculate the core temperature of each conductor.
